The word "whatever" takes the crown for the seventh consecutive year with 43 percent of the votes. Coming in second with 22 percent of the votes is "no offense ... but"; 20 percent of the votes were for "like"; 7 percent were for "no worries"; and 3 percent were for "huge."
The majority of Americans who found the word "whatever" annoying live in the South, while the West Coasters found it the least annoying.
